the Golden Gate Bridge, Mendocino Magic is a natural preserve with
breathtaking natural vistas, offering private campsites and superior
fishing and hiking. Mendocino Magic is located in Laytonville, California,
a direct ride up the Redwood Highway (Rte.101) just north of Willits
and 35 min. from the Mendocino Coast. 
Enjoy
over a mile of running trails: Walk or run the beautiful 300 acres
of open space of our 600 acre property. Mendocino Magic includes
a mile of running. We have forest land, open fields, and paths.
Take the time to enjoy this luscious preserve.
Fishing:
We have one of the most popular “Fishing Holes” in the
Mendocino Region. Our private reservoir is 330 acre foot, 85’foot
deep – and totally Private. We offer great fishing. This is
“Huck Finn” territory with privacy with a great stock
of wide mouth bass and trout. Bring your pole and bait, but no fishing
license required as we are private.
Kayak our world-class private reservoir. Kayaks for
rent.
Enjoy
the local beaches: Drive 35 minutes through a redwood grove, to
a number of beautiful beaches along the rugged coastline of Mendocino.
Visit
the Town of Mendocino, Westport and Fort Bragg via the old Branscomb
Road.
Enjoy
the Skunk train: This delightful outing goes from Ft. Bragg to Willits
and back (7 hours), or halfway and back (3 hours).
Whale
watching: Northward in springtime & southward in the fall; many
places to view, or take a chartered boat ride right out to them!
Binoculars are helpful from the coastline.
